Nan, where do I begin. You was one in a million. Your smile and laugh used to always light up the room. I hold so many special memories of you that I will cherish. You always knew how to make our school holidays fun, whether it was teaching us how to knit, making pom-poms, building dens or giving us some chopped up vegetables to help make grandads tea in the garden, no matter what it was we enjoyed doing it. You made so many costumes over the years including tutus for my first dance show, and a nun where I won first place. But that was you nan, you loved doing it for us and your door was always open to help. You adored the babies of the family and they adored you. If I can lead a happy family life like you have all these years then I know I will be alright. I will be forever grateful and thankful that I had a Nan like you. You was Our Queen, and always will be. I will love and miss you forever and always. May you rest in peace now. Night-night xxx
